Michael J. Metts is a purposeful writer, hopeful teacher, and accidental content designer. He is the co-author of Writing Is Designing: Words and the User Experience with Andy Welfle and has taught people all around the world how to use design methods to improve their writing. He believes in choosing impact over intent, outcomes over deliverables, and courage over comfort. He lives with his family on the south side of Chicago.
