Maggie Anderson is a writer and designer based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Brooklyn, New York. Lately she’s been focused on standing up content design teams and operationalizing prioritization models in Shopify’s fast-growing fulfillment and logistics business. Before Shopify, Maggie led projects that brought customer needs into conversations about API design and data at Capital One. She’s also built financial decision-making tools at federal government agencies, taught undergraduate writing courses, helped rescue art from a flooding museum, and spent time as a daily working journalist. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Oregon State University. Part of her heart is always with her family out on the farm.
