Content designers working on product teams have had to adapt to the prevailing methods of UI designers and developers. In doing so, they often find the process being UI-first rather than content-first in orientation. What can content designers do to increase their influence over the process so that content needs aren’t subordinated to UI decisions? This session will discuss the relevance and application of content models to product content. It will show how content models can bring benefits to content designers as well as to UI designers and developers. After attending this talk, you’ll learn:- What a content model is and how it is different from content layout- The value a content model brings to clarifying product content- How a content model supports a content-first approach to content design Note: Seats will be limited for this special lunchtime session!
