When we hear the word ”diversity“ in a work context, it is often in reference to (very valuable) organizational diversity and inclusion efforts. What isn’t referenced as commonly is the concept of diversity of experience: What things have you seen, done, and experienced that are specific to you? What lessons have you taken from your unique life path?

In this talk, we will explore how your diverse, lived experiences manifest in your approach as a leader, and how to stay true to yourself and the very valuable things you’ve learned:

  • Gina will share examples of how they have applied lessons from their own personal experiences to professional challenges, and how these lessons have shaped their leadership style.
  • We’ll discuss techniques for how to glean similar lessons from your own life.
  • We’ll explore how to apply these insights in order to become a more authentic leader in a professional setting.
