Whether they’re on a team of one or one hundred, every content leader finds themselves preparing for a roadshow: a series of presentations to senior leadership that not only reinforces what content design is, but also makes a case for investment for years to come.

We’ve all been there and will likely return. In this talk, we’ll cover the dos and don’ts of the roadshow, collating learnings from successful presentations across the industry.

In this session, you’’ll learn how to:

  • Explain the ROI (return on investment) of content design theoretically, and in quantitative and qualitative terms.
  • Visually communicate where the discipline fits within the product design process, and the pros and cons of recommending hiring ratios.
  • Shape your message to your audience, whether they sit in Product, Engineering, or beyond.
